Great Bay Community College (GBCC) and Nashua Community College (NCC) have been recognized for offering some of the best Data Analytics associate degree programs in the U.S. In the 2026 rankings published by TechGuide, GBCC was ranked the sixth best associate program, followed closely by NCC at number seven.
TechGuide is a national online resource that helps students and professionals learn about analytics and computer science education and careers. Its rankings are based on data from the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) via College Navigator. Key factors are evaluated, such as tuition, student-to-faculty ratios, admission and graduation rates, and alumni success.
Analytics education teaches students how to work with raw data to process, analyze, and make conclusions using predictive modeling. GBCC’s Analytics program combines foundational learning with hands-on lab work. NCC offers two associate degree programs – Applied Analytics and AI Pathway and Data Science and AI Pathway – as well as a certificate program in Data Analytics.
All courses may be taken online and small classes ensure personal attention. The outstanding student-to-faculty ratio and affordability of the degree programs at GBCC and NCC helped earn them a spot on the TechGuide “Top 10” list.
Students who complete the Analytics programs can enter the workforce directly or apply their learning towards the Analytics and Data Science B.S. program at the University of New Hampshire. NCC also has a similar Transfer Pathway agreement with Northeastern University in Boston. 2026 marks the second year that both GBCC and NCC have earned recognition on the TechGuide list of best Data Analytics associate degree programs.
