Educating Healthcare Talent
The Community College System of New Hampshire’s (CCSNH) Healthcare Career Guidance Regions initiative connects students, educators, employers, and communities across four regions statewide, creating clear, affordable pathways from healthcare career exploration to education, training, credentials, and employment — from high school through community college and into high-demand healthcare careers. The initiative is funded through New Hampshire’s GO-NORTH Rural Health Transformation program.

CCSNH’s approach is affordable, accessible, and student-centered — removing barriers and connecting people to the training and credentials they need. By strengthening New Hampshire’s rural healthcare workforce, CCSNH is expanding access to quality care, supporting healthier communities, and building a stronger economy throughout the Granite State.

One system, four regions, seven colleges
CCSNH’s Healthcare Career Guidance Regions Initiative connects students, educators, employers, and communities through its four regions to create clearer pathways from healthcare career exploration to education, training, credentials and employment.
The regional structure doesn’t limit a participant to one college — one strength of the CCSNH model is connecting people to whichever college, program, or credential best fits their need.

For students and career changers
- Healthcare careers are reachable from wherever you’re starting — high school, a career change, or building on experience you already have.
- Multiple entry points: pre-apprenticeship, bootcamps, CTE credentials, Early College, Registered Apprenticeship, short-term credentials, and 2- and 4-year degree paths.
- Nursing is one of many paths — allied health, dental health, paramedic medicine, behavioral health, and emergency medical services all have opportunities too.
For employers and healthcare organizations
- CCSNH is your connection to a stronger, more sustainable healthcare workforce — through Registered Apprenticeship Programs, Pre-Apprenticeship, and direct partnership with the college in your region.
- Regional Leads are your point of contact for employer engagement, partnership development, and identifying workforce needs specific to your area.
For guidance counselors, CTE partners, and educators
- CCSNH’s Healthcare Career Guidance Regions give you a direct connection to healthcare pathway options for your students — CTE partnerships, Early College connections, and career exploration support.
