Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible for the Early College program?
The Early College program is available to eligible New Hampshire high school students, in 10th through 12th grade. Homeschooled students aged 15 or older are eligible.
Student’s high school and/or school district must have a current and approved School Board Dual and Concurrent Enrollment Policy and a Dual and Concurrent Enrollment Agreement with CCSNH.

Fill out the form above to be connected to an Early College Coordinator at your nearest college location. The Early College Coordinator will work with the student to determine which of the Early College pathways best fit their goals. During the school year, students can also connect with their high school counselor.
What will an Early College course cost?
Thanks to financial support from the State of NH and the Community College System of NH, up to two courses per year are tuition-free and subject to available funding through the Dual and Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship program. Students may take more than two courses per year at a discounted rate through the Early College program. After the two scholarships are used, Early College classes at your high school are $150 and classes at a community college are discounted to half of tuition on a college campus. Students may be charged course fees and may need to purchase textbooks or other course materials.
Where can students take Early College courses?
Early College courses are available at local high schools, on a NH community college campus and 100% online.
Will an Early College class transfer to another college or university?
The acceptance of college credit is always at the discretion of the receiving college or university. CCSNH course credit has broad transferability with public colleges and universities within the US. A student may find that their college course doesn’t align with their intended program of study at their college or university. In that case, the course may transfer in as an elective credit.
How do students request a transcript?
Students can order official transcripts from the National Student Clearinghouse. The National Student Clearinghouse will authenticate a student with the CCSNH college database based on date of birth and social security number. Students should be mindful of which CCSNH college sponsored the class or classes they took through the Early College at the High School program. A student may have transcripts at multiple CCSNH colleges.
