Applications are normally reviewed within two weeks of submission. Expedited or Full Board reviews with minimal or greater risk are more complicated and may require multiple reviewers resulting in a longer review period.
Requests for revision are sent electronically via the online application by a member of the IRB Committee to the Principal Investigator’s email.
Research, including recruitment and data collection, may not begin until the proposal is successfully reviewed. IRB approval with review level are sent to the Principal Investigator’s email.
