Mission Statement

It is the mission of CCSNH to provide equal educational access, opportunities, and experiences to all qualified students with documented disabilities who register with their home college’s Accessibility Services Office.

In compliance with Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991, CCSNH does not discriminate against students with disabilities in terms of program admissions and/or opportunities for academic success.

How to Access Accessibility Services at CCSNH Colleges

Students will complete a three-step process, by working with their home college’s Accessibility Services using an interactive process to determine eligibility, and if eligible, what accommodations are reasonable and appropriate at the college level. All students requesting accommodations must go through the same interactive process.

1. Register with your home college Accessibility Services

It’s strongly recommended that you review the Guidelines for Documentation of a Disability prior to completing the Student Accommodation Request Form.

2. Submit Documentation

3. Meet with Accessibility Services at your home college to discuss and finalize accommodations.

This process allows Accessibility Services to explore the nature of the disability, the functional limitations, and discuss accommodations with the student based on the student’s individual needs.

Information regarding a student’s disability is confidential and kept separate from Registrar, Admissions, and other departmental records.
