Dr. Ali Rafieymehr Named Interim President of River Valley Community College

Concord, NH  -  Dr. Ali Rafieymehr has been named interim President of River Valley Community College, which includes a main campus in Claremont, NH, and academic centers in Keene and Lebanon, NH. 

The Community College System of NH (CCSNH) board of trustees voted unanimously to approve Rafieymehr’s appointment, which was recommended to them by CCSNH Chancellor Ross Gittell.


Lakes Region Community College Nursing Program wishes to announce that it will host a site review for initial accreditation of its Associate Degree in nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 5 PM on February 1, 2017 in the Academic Commons, Health and Science Building at Lakes Region Community College.

Community College System Recovers Funds Lost to Wire Fraud


Concord, NH - In late October, the Community College System of New Hampshire  (CCSNH) announced it had been the victim of theft involving an incident of fraudulent electronic fund transfer in which an entity falsely representing an existing vendor requested electronic fund transfer via Automated Clearing House (ACH).  Last week, CCSNH recovered nearly the full amount of the loss, working with its bank.

Community College System of NH Budget Request Would Lower In-State Tuition

Concord, NH - Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) leadership testified during the Governor’s budget hearings on November 21 that if their budget request can be fulfilled, in-state tuition will stay flat in year one of the biennium and drop in year two. Over the past five years, CCSNH has reduced its tuition, bucking national trends and increasing access and affordability for New Hampshire residents.
