Susan M. Siegel is Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications of Albany International Corp., a position she has held since November 2010. She joined the company in April 1987 as Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CFO and beginning in September 1987 held positions of increasing responsibility, including Administrator-Investor Relations; Manager-Internal Communications; and Director-Corporate Communications, prior to her present role, which includes responsibility for Marketing Communications for Albany Engineered Composites.
Prior to joining Albany International, Susan was Administrator of the New York School of Psychiatry (a non-profit, post-graduate educational organization for mental health professionals funded by the State of New York and NIMH; now defunct) from 1974 to 1982; and was Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Phoenix Data Systems (a producer/marketer of software used in the production of silicon chips; the company ceased operation in 1986) from 1983-1986.
She has attended Elmira College, Dutchess County Community College (Poughkeepsie, NY), Hudson Valley Community College (Troy, NY), and Sage College (Albany, NY). Susan is a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School in Boston.
She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rochester Opera House and the Advancement Committee of the United Way of the Greater Seacoast.
