Richard J. Pendergast is a Certified Public Accountant with the Firm of Mason + Rich, P.A. in Concord, NH. Mr. Pendergast works principally with closely held businesses. In additional to financial reporting and tax compliance, he specializes in proactive consultation on the strategic planning issues of his clients.
Prior to becoming a CPA fifteen years ago, he worked as a residential and commercial real estate sales person in the Lakes Region. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Meredith Rotary Club and its major fundraiser – the Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby. He also serves as Treasurer for the Greater Meredith Program and the Meredith Bay Sailing Association. Additionally, he currently serves as a Corporator for Meredith Village Savings Bank.
Dick attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH. He graduated from Plymouth State College in 1986 (Magna Cum Laude) with a degree in applied economics. He later returned to school to receive a master’s degree in accounting from New Hampshire College in 1994. He was awarded his CPA certificate in 1996.
Born and raised in southern New Hampshire, he has resided in Meredith, NH for the last 24 years along with his wife Lisa and their three daughters. His principal interests outside of work are sailing and boat building.
