Herrick Appointed Community College System Legal Counsel
Concord, NH – Attorney Jeanne Herrick of Concord, NH has joined the Community College System of NH as Legal Counsel. Herrick will be responsible for coordination of legal affairs for the state-wide, seven-college system and will oversee CCSNH’s office of legal, risk management and compliance.
Prior to joining CCSNH, Herrick was an attorney with the NH Department of Justice, serving as counsel to the NH Department of Health and Human Services. She previously worked at the Gallagher, Callahan and Gartrell P.C. law firm in Concord, NH and clerked for Justice James Duggan of the NH Supreme Court. Herrick is a member of the Leadership NH Class of 2008. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Mathematics Education, and earned a Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law).
The Community College System of NH consists of seven colleges, offering associate degree and certificate programs aligned with economic needs, professional training, transfer pathways to four-year degrees, and dual-credit partnerships with NH high schools. The System’s colleges are Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth; Lakes Region Community College in Laconia; Manchester Community College; Nashua Community College; NHTI – Concord’s Community College; River Valley Community College in Claremont and Keene; and White Mountains Community College in Berlin and Littleton.
