Richard Mason is the retired Director of the Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Service, under the New Hampshire Department of Safety.

Mr. Mason became the third person to head the Division in the State of New Hampshire when he was appointed to the post in 1996. In 2000 he was among one of the first to be designated as a Chief Fire Officer, with the Center for Public Safety Excellence.

LRCC received unanimous support from more than 20 regional advanced manufacturing leaders of the curriculum it is designing to prepare New Hampshire workers and job seekers for success in high-skill, high-tech positions.

Concord, NH... The Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation has been awarded a $25,000 education grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.  The Grant will be used to expand access for New Hampshire high school students to earn college credit through the Running Start program and will focus on increasing participation in high schools currently under-served by the program.  

Community College and University System educators met with industry leaders last month to advance their shared commitment and strategies to increase the number of graduates in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.
