SCOPE OF WORK: Provides administrative and program support to ensure orderly functioning of all organizational aspects of the Business Training Center (BTC) with particular emphasis on development and delivery of training services to meet regional workforce development needs. This position reports directly to the Director of the BTC at NHTI, Concord’s Community College.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate's degree from a recognized college or technical institute with a major study in business administration, accounting or public administration. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Three years’ experience in responsible office or business management activities. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: None required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration, Administrative Assistant I applicants must successfully participate in a written examination. This examination measures possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification.

Knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounting. Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of others.
