Most scholarships are only awarded to students who have completed their FAFSA with the Financial Aid office -- please fill out your FAFSA early!

Individual Colleges have local scholarships, please check their web sites or visit the Financial Aid Office.


Quentin C. Walsh Memorial Scholarship

for Manchester Community College Building Construction Students

Amount: Minimum $500.00
Deadline: July 27, 2012
Eligibility:

Applicant must:

  • have completed at least one semester, full-time, as a matriculated student in a Building Construction Technology Program at Manchester Community College, and are continuing their education in that program;

  • have demonstrated to their instructors a dedication, a pursuit of knowledge, and a proficiency in the craft of building construction;

  • have received a C or better grade and maintained a 2.0 minimum cumulative grade point average;

  • have financial need;

  • be nominated by a member of the Building Construction faculty.

Agnes M. Lindsay Trust Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Deadline:

Aug. 24, 2012

Eligibility:

Matriculated students with demonstrated financial need who are permanent residents of towns with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts or Maine. Students must be enrolled in for the Fall of 2011 and the FAFSA form at the financial aid office must have been completed.

American Automobile Association of Northern NE Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Deadline:

September 28, 2012

Eligibility:

Community College System students in an Automotive Technology Program at one of the following campuses: White Mts., Lakes Region, Manchester, Nashua. Student must be a NH resident, demonstrate the desire for a career in the automotive service industry. Student must have filed a FAFSA with their Financial Aid office.

Preference given to past recipients.

The Dan McLeod Memorial Scholarship

For Automotive Technology Students

Amount:

Based on fund availability. Minimum $500

Deadline:

No application required.

Student will be notified by mail and recognized at annual scholarship celebration.

Eligibility:

One Automotive Technology Student with the highest GPA will be awarded annually.  There is no application process. Student must be a NH resident.

The David A. Copestakes Memorial Scholarship

Amount: minimum $600

Two awards: one at Great Bay Community College and one at NHTI

Deadline:

Currently accepting applications

Eligibility:

Student may be either part-time or full-time;

Student must be enrolled in either the Electronics Engineering Program at NHTI, Concord's Community College OR the Liberal Arts/Engineering Science Program at Great Bay Community College;

Student must be a NH resident;

Cover letter required.

PSNH  NASA Space Grant Scholarship

Amount: $1,500 per student per semester
Deadline:

For Fall 2012, Deadline is July 27, 2012

Eligibility:

Full or part-time students who are enrolled in associate degree or certificate programs in Aviation Technology: Energy Services Technology; Electronics Technology; Geographic Information Systems; Math or Science Teacher Education; Mechanical Engineering Technology; Mobile Equipment Technology and who have a demonstrated interest in pursuing further education or a career in fields of interest to NASA and PSNH.

This Program is made possible through the New Hampshire Space Grant Consortium (NHSGC).

Ronald F. Borelli Legacy Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Deadline: July 27, 2012            
Eligibility:

Applicant must:

Be matriculated in a degree granting program;

Be an incoming freshmen ranked within top 20% of class OR

Demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 3.0;

Be a full-time CCSNH student -- all campuses eligible;

Have filed a FAFSA with their Financial Aid Office;

Submit application and cover letter.
