COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS AWARDED $20,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS

Concord, NH... The Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation recently awarded twenty students with the Agnes Lindsay Trust $1,000 Scholarships. The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust scholarships are awarded to deserving students who are residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Vermont and are attending one of the seven Community College System of New Hampshire colleges. The 2010 recipients are:

From River Valley Community College in Claremont: Michelle Farr (Charlestown), Camron Kennedy (Hinsdale), Brooke Lang (Grand Isle, VT), Hannah Goldschmidt (Athens, VT), Janelle Cooke (Alstead);

From White Mountains College Campus in Berlin: Nicole Benway-Ladd (Colebrook);

From Lakes Region Community College in Laconia: Kathrine Smith (Tilton), Nicholas Benson (Chelsea, VT), Nicole Moran (Belmont);

From NHTI, Concord's Community College: Erin Pitts (Danville), Meghan Kirshneur (Peterborough), Samantha Lavoie (Milford), Kyle Mitchell (Bow), Nicole Sesia (Rindge), Crystal Ruddock (Lisbon), Emily Scott (Epsom), Joseph Cruz (Epsom), Aaron Hudon (Chesterfield), Miranda Perlupo (Pittsfield), Eric Alverio (Gorham).

The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust supports the Community College System of New Hampshire annually. Agnes and Edwin Lindsay owned a summer home in Bridgewater, New Hampshire. Mrs. Lindsay passed away in February of 1937. As stipulated in her Will, a Trust was established in her name.
