Denis J. Maloney joined the Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation in 2007 and was elected Secretary in 2008. Attorney Maloney is a shareholder in the law firm Gallagher, Callahan, & Gartrell, located in Concord. His law practice includes representing clients with corporate, securities, governance, and banking matters, as well as advising corporations and private foundations.
Mr. Maloney worked for several years with the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. in the areas of consumer protection and business competition prior to entering private practice. He has been a long time member and past president of the Board of Second Start, located in Concord and committed to providing affordable and effective educational programs. He is also a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at his local church.
He received his bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross in 1975 and his law degree, with honors, from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. following several years of service in the US Peace Corps - Philippines.
Mr. Maloney was born in Newport, Rhode Island and now resides with his wife Linda in Concord, New Hampshire.
