Daniel B. McLeod Second Annual Memorial Scholarship to Student Adam Minihan, Rindge
Concord, NH... The Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation has awarded the second annual Daniel B. McLeod Memorial Scholarship to Adam Minihan of Rindge, who is studying automotive technology at Lakes Region Community College. The Daniel B. McLeod scholarship program was established in perpetuity by Mr. McLeod’s family after he passed away in April 2008. Mr. McLeod had served as the Vice-Chairman of the Community College System’s Board of Trustees. Mr. McLeod also had served as President of the New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association from 1988 through 2007. One scholarship is to be awarded annually to a promising student studying for a career in Automotive Technology at one of they System’s four colleges which offer the program: Lakes Region Community College, Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, and White Mountain’s Community College. The Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation was incorporated in February 2000 as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The Foundation is overseen by a 20 person Board of Directors. The Foundation's mission is to support the Community College System of New Hampshire by making higher education more accessible.
