Peter B. Davis - Profile Peter Davis, MPH, MHA, FACHE, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Joseph Hospital and Trauma Center in Nashua, which is a part of the St. Joseph Healthcare System in New Hampshire. Before joining St. Joseph Hospital, Mr. Davis was the President of Union Hospital in Lynn, Mass., and prior to that he worked at University Hospital (Boston Medical Center). He has over 35 years of experience in hospital administration, system development, physician practice operations and ownership, financial operations, and system turnaround experience. For more than 20 years, Mr. Davis has served as a President and Chief Executive Officer of the St. Joseph Healthcare System, which includes St. Joseph Hospital and Trauma Center, Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Souhegan Home & Hospice Care and Granite State Mediquip. He has also served for almost two years, as the interim head of Optima Healthcare, a three hospital merger in New Hampshire. Mr. Davis, in his unwavering commitment to the greater Nashua community, has also served on a number of community and public boards, including the Governing Board of the greater Nashua United Way and the greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the board of the New Hampshire Community Technical Colleges Foundation. Recognized by his peers for his leadership in healthcare and commitment to improving the lives of residents of New Hampshire, Mr. Davis is a past recipient of the Health Care Management Association Recognition Award, the New Hampshire Hospital Association Leslie Smith Award and the United Way Max Silber Award. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor's of Arts Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Master's in Public Health and Master's in Hospital Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health and he is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. |
