Foundation Welcomes New Members

Richard Fox, Laura Simoes

 

Concord, NH…..At their annual meeting, the NH Community Technical Colleges Foundation Board of Directors welcomed two new members to the Board: Richard Fox and Laura Simoes.

      Richard Fox is currently the Director of Finance for St. Joseph Healthcare in Nashua, New Hampshire.  Before joining St. Joseph Healthcare, Richard was Chief Financial Officer for The Medical Group, Inc., a large multi specialty group practice.  He also served as Chief Financial Officer for two years at Littleton Regional Hospital and ten years as Vice President of Finance at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.  

In addition to his significant career progression in the financial environment, he has many professional memberships and affiliations, including: Treasurer of the Souhegan Nursing Association, Treasurer of the Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Nashua, Member of the Medical Group Management Association, Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, past Board Member of NH Healthy Kids, Past Treasurer of Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce, Past Planning Board Chairman for the Town of Madbury, past President of NH/VT Healthcare Financial Management Association.   He is a resident of Fremont, New Hampshire.

     Laura Simoes is a Managing Partner in Louis Karno & Company, which offers communication planning and counsel.  Before joining Louis Karno & Company, she worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and as a Communications Director for the State of New Hampshire’s Division of Travel and Tourism. 

She was a Commissioner on Human Rights for the State of New Hampshire.  Simoes is a graduate of the 2004 Leadership New Hampshire Class.   She is a recipient of The Union Leader’s 40 under 40 award.  She graduated with a degree in Communications from Boston University.  She lives in Hillsborough, NH.
