- Scholarship funds cover the costs of tuition, fees, and books for students completing classes leading to certificate or degree completion in the field of human services and direct care careers within community-based job settings.
- Approved applicants may receive up to $2,500 per academic year.
- Funds must be applied for each semester, beginning 6 weeks prior to start and ending at the add/drop date.
- Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
- Students may apply for scholarships for more than one course at a time,
- Applications will be processed, in the order received, beginning up to 6 weeks prior to the start of the semester and ending either at the end of the drop/add period for the semester or when budgeted funds are depleted.
- Scholarship awards for tuition and fees are applied directly to Community College student accounts.
- Applicants must apply at the beginning of each term for new funds.
- Reimbursements for text books will be paid directly to the student:
- Original receipts, showing method of payment for texts books for approved course, must be submitted to our office.
- Receipts must be received within 30 days of the first day of classes for the award term.
